About us

Aardvark Investments S. A. is listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (BdL-market) and EURONEXT Bruxelles. Our focus is to invest in and develop new and advanced bio-technologies.

Aardvark has already invested in three highly promising enterprises that have been carefully chosen for both their commercial and technological potential: Maltagen Forschung GmbH, Cequesta and Eco Energy Group.

Climate change is recognised as the biggest scientific challenge we face today, and it is having a profound impact on businesses, on communities and on our lives. Climate change has become the catalyst for raising awareness of the current bio-technologies that are available, and of the R&D being undertaken by enterprising organisations around the world into new, alternative and sustainable biotechnologies.

The fragility of the world's ecology and management of the world's agricultural resources is under increasing scrutiny. It would appear that for every proposed solution for climate change mitigation there are unforeseen and sometimes unwanted knock-on effects. As strategies to reduce CO2 emissions have proven to be limited in effectiveness, and as the crops for food v crops for fuel debate continues, we have focused our attention and investments in long-term, well-balanced and sustainable technologies in the food, future-generation bio-energy and health markets.
